After the 2008 Olympics Gail Emms will be retiring. Her doubles partner Nathan Robertson plans to compete at the London 2012 Olympics after her retirement.

Her 25 ranking in Europe and world singles ranking of 65 has earned Chloe Magee a place in the Beijing Olympics in August.

Vaughan's loss to Prrzemyslaw Wacha in the European Championships third round means he will not be travelling to the Olympics this year.

"I will probably retire now. I don't have any funding. I have bills to pay so it's time to stop," said Vaughan
